# Server Philosophy

### Server Philosophy

Olympus follows these principles:

#### Long-Term Play

Olympus is designed for slow, long-term survival. Players are not expected to rush progression or consume the entire pack immediately.

The world is meant to accumulate history.

#### Player-Driven Projects

There is no central questline telling players what to do.

Players can build settlements, explore dimensions, create shops, engineer machines, form groups, travel, trade, and pursue their own goals.

#### Minimal Admin Interference

Admins will not constantly fix every loss, mistake, death, or bad decision.

Survival has consequences. Exploration has risk. Player choices matter.

#### No Pay-to-Win

Olympus does not use paid ranks, paid kits, paid power, or paid progression.

#### No Command-Based Convenience

Olympus avoids the command-heavy style of Minecraft survival.

There are no default warps, homes, `/back`, `/tpa`, `/rtp`, or similar shortcuts. Travel, infrastructure, vehicles, roads, rails, portals, and paths matter.

#### Restraint

Olympus does not try to add every popular mod.

The pack is intentionally shaped. What is left out matters as much as what is included.
