# Titan Tools

Titan Tools are special, powerful tools in Theatria that contain OP enchantments. These tools make various tasks easier.

## Using Titan Tools

Titan tools are permanent-durability tools with an **Ancient Power** ability. Most abilities require the tool to be charged and switched on.

### Using Ancient Power

1. **Charge the tool:** Open your inventory, pick up one or more Power Crystals with your cursor, and click them onto a chargeable Titan tool. The whole crystal stack is consumed and its charge is added to the tool.
2. **Turn it on or off:** Hold the tool in your main hand, sneak, and right-click. The tool's lore should show `Ancient Power: ON` before its ability will work.
3. **Use the tool normally:** A successful special action costs **1 charge**, regardless of how many blocks the area effect processes. When the last charge is spent, Ancient Power switches off automatically.

Power Crystals provide the following charge:

| Common   |      5 |
| Uncommon |     50 |
| Super    |    100 |
| Epic     |    250 |
| Ultra    |  1,000 |

### What Each Tool Does

#### Excavator

The Excavator is the crystal-finding tool and does not use Ancient Power charge. Breaking an Amethyst Block with it gives a chance to find a Power Crystal instead of normal amethyst drops. By default, the chance is **5% per block**; crystal rarity is weighted from Common (most likely) to Ultra (rarest).

#### Titan Pickaxe

* Mines eligible blocks in a **3x3x3 cube** centered on the block you break.
* Sends collected drops directly to your inventory; drops remain in the world if they cannot be added.
* Automatically smelts several ores when Silk Touch is not present: iron and gold ores produce 6 ingots, copper ore produces 20 ingots, emerald ore produces 6 emeralds, and Nether Gold Ore produces 3 gold ingots.
* Produces the appropriate ore experience unless the pickaxe has Silk Touch.

#### Titan Axe

* Breaks eligible logs, leaves, stems, wart blocks, and giant mushroom blocks within roughly a **5-block radius**.
* Attempts to leave the correct sapling or fungus when an eligible tree base is directly above dirt, podzol, or grass.
* When used to kill a mob, also awards bonus experience equal to the mob's normal experience drop.

#### Titan Shovel (Deletes blocks)

* Left-click a block to clear a **3x3 plane** aligned with the face you clicked.
* Skips surrounding block types excluded by the server and respects protected blocks.
* Containers clicked directly are handled as a normal single-block break.

#### Titan Sword

Killing a mob awards bonus experience equal to its normal experience drop. The normal experience still drops, so the total is effectively doubled.

#### Titan Fishing Rod

When a catch is reeled in:

* Cod and salmon receive one extra fish.
* Pufferfish and tropical fish are unchanged.

### Important Notes

* Charge is spent when an ability activates, even if some nearby blocks are not eligible.
* Titan tools do not lose durability and cannot be damaged while dropped, but they can still despawn or be lost to the void.
* Legacy imbued Titan tools must be converted before they can use charge-powered effects. Conversion is permanent and starts the tool at 0 charge with Ancient Power off.
